What can be said about the beach? Well these are my own personal opinions so here goes.... Stay clear of the more touristy end of the beach. You have several miles of beach to choose from, so if you are staying down the main drag, take the time to walk 10 minutes down towards Sohail Castle. Here the beach is much cleaner and less busy. Rent out a sun bed and umbrella for around 3.50 euros a day. Why lay on a towel in the middle of screaming kids and British ale guts when you don't have to? Local traders regularly walk up and down the beach selling cold cans of beer and soft drinks which are quite expensive, so invest in a cooler bag and some ice and take your own cold ale.
